Join us at Mint Valley Golf Course for a special day of golf in honor of one of our own — Brad Ramey, a beloved member of our maintenance crew whose hard work and warm spirit helped shape the course we love.

Hosted on our six hole Par 3 Course, this junior tournament offers young golfers of all skill levels a fun and supportive environment to compete, learn, and enjoy the game Brad cared so deeply about.

This event celebrates not only the next generation of golfers, but also the legacy of a man who helped keep Mint Valley green and growing.

Entry Deadline: Sunday August 17th @ 6:00 PM Entry Fee: $100 per team. (Includes payouts for prize money. Does not include greens fees or cart.)

Eligibility: Open to men and women age 55+ golfer with a current USGA handicap (GHIN).

Tee Times: Start at 8:30 AМ.

Tees: Gold Tees (front tees)

Teams: Two person teams.10-stroke max course handicap difference between teammates as of Aug 17th.

Format: 18-hole two formats. Best Ball front 9; Scramble back 9. Gross and Net scoring.

Handicap allowances: Best Ball = 100%; Scramble = 50% of combined handicаp

Field Size: Limited to first 50 teams (100 players).

Flights: Flighted field based on handicap and field size. There will be a Ladies Division if at least 6 ladiesonly teams enter

Prizes: Flighted payouts. Gross and net place winners. Skins and closest to pin (KPs).

How to enter: Complete form below and submit with cash or check payable to Mint Valley Men’s Club.

Drop off: Place entry form and payment in drop box across from Moe’s Grill in the Mint Valley Golf Course pro shop.

Event Details:

  • Format: 18-hole scramble

  • Start Time: Tee times begin at 7:30 AM

  • Eligibility: Open to golfers with a current USGA handicap (GHIN)

  • Teams: Two person teams. Max Handicap Difference: 10 strokes (course handicap, as of July 30)

  • Handicap Allowances: USGA recommended handicap; Team handicap = 35% of low + 15% of high

  • Tee Assignments:

    • Men: White Tees

    • Women, girls, junior boys under 12: Gold Tees

  • Handicap Allowance: 35% of low + 15% of high

  • Limited to first 50 teams (100 players) – register early!

Prizes & Payouts:

  • Flighted gross & net payouts

  • Skins game

  • Closest-to-the-pin (KPs) challenges
