Mint Valley dries out fast!
Local ducks may like it when the golf course is wet and soggy but not the golfers. That is why Mint Valley Golf Course has made many improvements in their drainage system over the last decade. These improvements include adding over 2 miles of drain tile and 10,000 yards of fairway sand. In 2011 a new flood pump upgrade was completed so water can be quickly removed during heavy rain storms. With an average yearly rain fall of 46.5 inches in Cowlitz County, Mint Valley has manage to make their course one of the driest courses in Southwest Washington. These improvements continue to let Mint Valley Golf Course offer an outstanding golfing experience.
